PREVENTION AND CHILDRENThe repositioning process of the Atlas is a simple and safe procedure providing life lasting advantages. Children can especially benefit from a treatment as a preventative measure, allowing them to grow up healthily and develop their potential to the fullest. The treatment of children is particularly recommended because of the ease of execution, resulting from the near-absence of muscular contractions and the greater capacity for easy adaptation to the realignment. Most of the time, we take care of our health only when pains and problems are already at a very advanced stage and no longer bearable (only relieving symptoms). After years of problems and attempts to alleviate them with massive and prolonged use of pharmaceutical drugs, the body finds itself in such a precarious state that it becomes increasingly difficult to recover, and the regeneration phase is much longer and more problematic. It even may happen that a particular person is so ill and his/her body is so exhausted that it cannot regenerate. In such a case the correction is useless. For this reason, the Atlas correction shall be seen as a preventative measure and it is wise for it to be checked and corrected in children, even if they do not yet appear as having any problems. My daughter also had a treatment. She is 9 years old. First time she went to the osteopath she was 6 years old. I was shocked to see that when she was standing normally, one shoulder was more up that the other, which meant that all of the body was misbalanced. She had sore knees, Stiff neck and shoulders, bad posture; different length legs, therefore one side of the body is more tensed and closed up than the other. When walking kept on tripping over, that is due to different length legs. After treatment: Immediate change:
One week later: Svetlana’s daughter, 9 yrs old - Scotland
I had to take them around Kentish Town a bit before taking a bus and then another bit around Regents Park, despite the rain. Aidan, my eldest one, said on Sunday that all his body felt different. andJames, after being questioned by his teacher because he was particularly straight in the line yesterday, stated proudly that his Atlas had been repositioned that is why he looked so good(!) Of course I had to go this morning to explain that there was nothing wrong with his back - his teacher was very scared about it - and I left her one of your leaflets. Thank you for your patience with the kids and for the work you are doing! Love - M.F
